In 1908, Rudolf Steiner, working with Dr Felix Peipers, created a sequence of Madonna images for use in healing. The images were used with patients carrying what they called soul wounds.
Steiner arranged works by Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello in a specific order, intended to work on the etheric (life force) and astral (soul) bodies of the patient.
Ten images of the Madonna and Child by Raphael, in a sequence devised by Rudolf Steiner and Dr Peipers in 1908 to heal what they called soul wounds. Paul's lecture takes up the new mysteries — mysteries of the future, mysteries of love — and how these images can be used for healing.
Includes an introduction by Penny Champ, eurythmy movements by Nicole Peterson, and a further lecture from Paul on the symbolism of the pentagram. The sequence itself is a slideshow of fifteen images you can return to again and again.

The sequence is not something to watch once. People return to it over months, for contemplation and for practice.
who teaches it
Paul has taught music in Waldorf schools for 27 years, and helped set up music programmes at West Coast Steiner School, Silver Tree Steiner School and Perth Waldorf School. He has trained adults in music and anthroposophy since 2007 at Rudolf Steiner College, Perth, and more recently in Indonesia, and has taught and performed at National Anthroposophical Conferences.
Over the past 13 years Penny has been educating women on the power of The Divine Feminine by working in sharing circles, on retreats and also on Pilgrimage in the UK. Her passion for the Sacred Feminine is woven through her daily life and expressed through storytelling, song, movement, craft and drum making. Devotion is the foundation of all of her work. Nicole Peterson graduated from The American Eurythmy School in California in 2011. She then carried on further training and performance work in Anthroposphical arts in Switzerland, while teaching Eurythmy in blocks — here there and everywhere. Nicole has a passion for how Eurythmy brings healing through social experience, listening and becoming present.
